Trinity School of Frederick values a diverse student body in terms of socio-economic, racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.  The school seeks students with a lively intellectual curiosity and the ability to thrive in our environment, a balance of boys and girls within each class, and gives priority to siblings of enrolled students and children of faculty and staff, so long as these applicants are qualified candidates.  In addition, anticipated support from the parents of the student is an important consideration.

To apply to The Trinity School:

• Return the Application Form to Trinity School of Frederick along with a non-refundable application fee of $75.00.  You may include a photo of your child if you wish.

• For applicants to Grade Two and above, provide two Independent School Confidential Recommendation Forms to the child's current teacher and another recent teacher and have them return the forms directly to Trinity School. For applicants to Kindergarten and Grade One, provide one Student Recommendation form for the child's current teacher and have he/she return it directly to Trinity School.

• For applicants to Grade One and above, ask current school to send a copy of the student's transcript to Trinity School.

• For students entering Kindergarten, make an appointment for a Saturday morning Play Date at Trinity School.  For students entering Grades One and above, make an appointment for your child to spend a day at Trinity School.

• Arrange for required testing or have recent test results sent to Trinity School of Frederick.

• If Financial Aid is desired, please go to sss.nais.org/parents and fill out the Parent Financial Statement (PFS), which includes information on income, assets, and debt.  When filling out the PFS, please include the Trinity School code 3125. In addition to filling out the PFS, Trinity now requires copies of your current year tax returns (1040s with all filed schedules and attachments) and W-2s.  These forms should be sent directly to Trinity School, attention the Financial Aid Committee.  If you are applying for the first time, please include copies of the two prior year tax returns, including all filed schedules, attachments, and W-2s.  All information provided is strictly confidential and is required in order to receive need-based financial aid.  The deadline for filling out the PFS and submitting all tax information is March 1, 2012.  The PFS application is now open, and we encourage you to submit it as soon as possible.
